Alexandru Cirneala will introduce through his acts the world to the costs of hesitation, hasty judgment and ambition - fatal flaws that destroyed heroes and those they loved.
Why do these plays remain important? For him, the heroes are all too real, their flaws valid. His tales are entertaining. Humorous even when they are tragic, personal even when inconceivable. Then go behind-the-scenes and he will answer you "acting is all about you! What do I mean by that?” The brilliant TV director David Nutter said, "Acting is autobiography." It is presenting, little by little, bits and pieces of yourself. It is telling us how you act and react in life changing situations (which is what happens in every good script). No one acts and reacts like you. No one can do or say exactly what you do or say in any given circumstance.
Acting is a tool for freedom of expression and choice, a mirror of possibility in humankind. Acting is a powerful medium for reflecting authenticity in the human experience.
As an ACTOR you become that lightning rod between the person who made the PLAY and the AUDIENCE. (Christopher Walken)
