About Katherine

I am an actor by calling, a screenwriter and script consutant by vocation and a producer by default. As an actor I am with the George Agency in Toronto and am managed by PMW Management in London, England.

Through my production company, TimeStory Pictures, I currently have a feature in development as a Canada/Spain co-production. I have also executive produced several shorts including Mark Datuin's White Lock which has garnered a Best Original Score Award in Atlantic City and Best International Picture Award in Atlanta; I also appeared in White Lock, which is also an official selection at the Cannes Film Festival, Court Metrage.

I also have five other scripts on the go specializing in the Imaginary/Magical Reality, Period and Sci-fi genres.

I am a classically trained stage actor, having studied under at the venerable Roysl Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, England, with legendary vocal coach, David Smuckler and with Shakespeare expert Peter Wilde. Contemporary training ranges from scene study to Comedia Del Arte to Meisner/Adler and Stanislavski Methods. I work privately with film and television coach, Michael Gordin Shore in Toronto.

As a writer I have trained with Corey Mandell at UCLA, attended conferences and workshops worldwide and, as with acting, am continually upgrading my skills.

Unique traits: Wide spoken vocal range. Quirky, offbeat but commercial writing style with comparisons to Woody Allen, Pedro Almodavar and Darron Aronovsky. Chameleon-like character range.
