I just finished shooting my scenes for Home Again - a Canadian Independent film directed by David 'Sudz' Sutherland. http://www.toronto.com/blog/post/711692--nearly-10-years-after-debut-fil.... It is set in Jamaica but was mainly shot here in Trinidad. I had a small role as Children's Aid Officer Mrs.Singh in a scene with the very talented Tatiana Ali. It was an awesome experience and I am very grateful.

Hey Patti-Anne, a few days ago we implemented a new privacy setting to give you the option of accepting private messages only from users within your network. Today, I discovered a bug with the way this option is set for new users. I just wanted to let you know that the bug is now fixed, so all members are now able to receive private messages from any other member (the default setting). If you'd like to receive private messages only from users within your network, you can change this setting here. Also, you can access your privacy settings at any time from the drop-down menu that appears when you hover over your profile photo in the upper right-hand corner of the page.

The Illustrated Biography of Ian Ali volume 9 series 3 of the Great Nationals of Trinidad and Tobago series will be launched at the National Museum in Port-of-Spain on December 7th 2011. It is my first authored publication. I am very excited and grateful to so many people, particularly Lasana Kwesi who initiated the project with the Ministry of the Arts and Multiculturalism. The graphic artist Roger A.Pierre has done a phenomenal job illustrating the story as has the art director Reinier Figueredo . I will post images after the launch. This is particularly meaningful to me, as the late great Artist Ian Ali was my father. It is a part of 'Honouring Him', a project my company Sugar House began four years ago, intended to honour my father's lifetime of cultural work. Last year was a memorial art exhibition - Renaissance Man - hosted by Hilton Trinidad, this year the illustrated biography. Now I am focusing on the documentary feature film 'Uncle Ian' and the coffee table art book. I am so very grateful. I wish every artiste a lifetime of meaningful work that will live on...
