Curry grew up in an Air Force family, and travelled widely. Her experiences color her plays with a sense of empathy for the trials and tribulations of the human condition. She has performed on stage, been a lead singer and composer in an Irish band, and taught K-12 music and theatre. Formerly a costume designer for equity and non-equity theater in the greater Los Angeles area, Ms. Curry retired when she moved to the Pacific Northwest, and now focuses on writing.

Ms. Curry is a member of The Dramatists Guild of America, the New Play Exchange, Orange County Playwrights Alliance, Page to Stage Playwriting Group, and ASCAP. She currently resides on Camano Island in Washington.
