About Mike

Hi My name is Mike Coleman.
I am and always have been a mechanic all my life. When I left school all those years ago I wanted to get into acting then but Dad being an Army man through and through had other visions for me. I didn't want to join the Army or go down a Coal mine so I came to London and trained as a mechanic. Events just took over and all of a sudden I had a family not that I regret that in any way or would have it any other way.
In 2007 I started my own garage (that was a big step believe me) and things went on the up.
I now have a lot more time on my hands and decided to try again to get into acting. I met up with a producer called Wayne (Yuppie Dark Circles) who gave me a small part in a film he was making (Under my Skin) a dark comedy with a bit of a serious side, the part got a little bigger and all of a sudden I was driving and having a fight in front of the camera (there was an absolutely hilarious series of events that happened that day and If I ever meet you ask me about it).
Any way I decided to register with a few of agencies and have been lucky enough to have had work every month since.
My ultimate would be getting a part in an English gangster type film. I just love those type of films, less special effects than most films and more on the actors.
