With no money to take care of her medical bills, stranded Katherine seeks help from a Doctor who sympathizes with her condition. The Doctor agrees to help her get back to her feet for free. With regret, pain and anger still boiling on her face, unforgiving Katherine seeks revenge against her husband who proved to be heartless and deemed her, "less than."

SYNOPSIS:

While on a road trip along black bear scenic byway, Katherine Marks, unintentionally blocks Phill Jones’ line of sight, resulting to a fatal accident. Phill suffers minor injuries while Katherine is admitted to Neurological intensive care unit with spinal cord injuries. Discharged in a power wheelchair, and with both legs paralyzed, Phill sees physically disabled Katherine as a burden.

Three months later, on a cold night, Phill finds it hard to live with a physically disable woman, who he describes as lazy, careless and reproductively challenged. Helpless Katherine is left in tears when her husband calls off their engagement and tells her that Health insurance covers is ALL she needs, and he walks away.

When stranded, she seeks helps from Dr. Zoran Nenadic, only to realize that she will need about one million dollars to get back to her feet. She’s shocked when she notices that all her lifetime savings, which could have catered for her medical expenses and take care of her basic needs are gone, and the only suspect is her ex-husband, Phill.

An attempt to get the money back from Phill fades away when Phill promises to chop off all her limbs should she call him again. Luckily, Dr. Zoran with his team, offer to help her for free to get back on her feet. With persistence, determination and focused effort, Katherine endures all the components of training that took her from the wheelchair to crutches and until she’s able to stand, walk and run.

Upon realizing that the money is finished, sadness rushes to his cheek and as if discovering that he’s trapped by misguided obligation, but, the LOVE for women and whiskey (WW) still persist, Phill gets a buyer for their matrimonial home and he’s ready to kick out Katherine. When left homeless, Katherine seeks help from Dr. Zoran who had proved to be a responsible, loving and caring. With strong bond and need for companionship between Dr. Zoran and Katherine, they go for a court order stopping Phill from selling the house. Unfortunately, this initiates another battle leading to serious torture of her soul mate, Dr. Zoran, forcing her to go against the court order and sells the matrimonial home to meet Phill’s demand of $115, 000 as a ransom, which, however, is below the market price.

When Dr. Zoran dies, and the need for revenge piles, Katherine can’t resist the call to go against the sixth commandment, “thou shall not kill.”

I was inspired to write this story to pass a message that we should never lose sight of our goal, never to let stigma get us down and never to give up. Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence, determination and focused effort.
