Lynn Tarzwell

Writer, actor, and teacher Lynn Mason Tarzwell has over 40 years' experience in education, media and theatre, and ran the one-year graduate certificate Scriptwriting program at Algonquin College, retiring in 2019 to work on personal projects. Lynn has written scripts for animated series such as Franklin the Turtle, Caillou and others, television documentaries, multimedia kits, CD-ROMs, videos, speeches and penned magazine articles. She is a professional voice actor on television and radio in roles such as Elly Patterson on the For Better or For Worse TV series. From 2001 to 2019,, she helped Scriptwriting students develop and pitch original TV series and movies, several of which have been produced or are in development. Lynn was the story editor on a 26-episode math series for TVO, Prime Radicals. Lynn has also been a panelist and judge at short film, radio drama, film and television pitching events, most recently CBC’s Short Film Faceoff and the Yorkton Film Festival.
