Thank you, Khurram
Great info Khurram! As filming goes on, I'm sure the changes become pretty substantial. I'm guessing that it's the job of the screenwriter to keep track of the changes and submit a post-production script so learning about the different post formats is really helpful. Thank you!

Expand postThank you, Khurram! That’s really fascinating. I had no idea about post-production scripts. As I direct my first short film, I’m realizing that the final version of the script actually takes shape after shooting. I’ve noticed that rehearsals, the filming process, and even actors’ dialogue adjustments all contribute to changes. There’s a Final Draft before production, and then a Final Script that emerges after shooting. This is my experience. In your experience, happens the same?
Thank you, Khurram
Helpful blog, Khurram! I’ve heard of post-production scripts, but I didn’t know much about them, and I didn’t know they were important for festivals and distribution. Must-read blog. Thanks for writing it.
Thank you for writing this blog post, Khurram. Would the ABS document(s) be something that a Script Supervisor would Produce? If not, whose purview is it under? Cheers, Geoff
This is incredible. Thank you for laying these out in such great detail!
This is so helpful, Khurram, thank you! Most people don't know how important these assets are!
Great blog, Khurram! I’ve never heard about this topic. That’s one of the things I love about Stage 32’s blogs. I hear about topics for the first time. Thanks for writing this blog!
Thank you, Khurram
I'm pleased to share that I finally scored a distribution deal with Gonella Productions for our short sci-fi/action film, Ascendance. Its been an almost 4 year journey! The budget was 15K USD. Would love to hear what people think?

Congrats! Great end to the journey.
Awesome! C
Massive Congrats! That's a great accomplishment!
This is great -- I've seen a few of these scripts on bigger productions. But it's good to start thinking about how to craft these on our own indie productions. As content creators, it's important to understand the entire chain of production. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
I didn't realize it was so much information on producing a script..
