A Mafia mogul’s world is turned upside down after someone within his inner circle turns, implicating him in multiple federal crimes, sending him and his family down a path of revenge and ultimate self-destruction.
SYNOPSIS:
A 6-hour Crime Drama.
A series set in Chicago that journeys through the city's global criminal underworld. Disciples follows the St. Claire crime family, an extremely rich and powerful family that runs the largest crime conglomerate in the Midwest. Heavily involved in the operations of drug and gun running through their billion-dollar shipping empire Claire Corp, millions flow the city’s harbor each year. When the family patriarch, Elias St. Claire the “Mafia King of Chicago” and CEO of Claire Corp, is implicated and arrested on multiple counts of federal crimes after someone within his inner circle turns on him, it turns the family’s world upside down. He is forced to groom and choose, from among his three obscenely dysfunctional progenies, a successor who will control his dynasty— the megalomaniac oldest Acer, the self-centered middle Quinn, or the immature and irrelevant youngest Greyson. In the process, Elias pits them against each other, while Elias’s ex-wife Victoria and former right-hand man Pierce Jones who are now married also pull for control of both the empire and the children. Each now vying for power and control is sent down a spiraling path of revenge and trying to take each other out, setting off a chain of plots and schemes from others– including bribery, blackmail, murder, and the federal government who are trying to undermine them as well.
