I am selling my first feature script, meanwhile doing an authorial version, with soundtrack, costumes and so on, a plan B to be produced by a Verona team, with local financial investments (let's hope). The problem is that my film is a high budget one, maybe medium, certainly not low. I already applied, with older versions , to some contest, the last ones with good feedback, that I applied in the new drafts. Now I'm done, talking with Netflix Italia, but looking for a producer to make a budget breakdown of my script. Note: the script is Italian, even if I did some old drafts in English, to participate do American contests. Nice to meet you all. Pietro

Hi, do we have here an Italian producer that would like to read my feature script, that I already pitched to Netflix Italy (and they liked it)? They just need a budget breakdown to decide if they will finance the project, which is a high budget one. Thanks
Head over to IMDB.com. Do a search on Italian movies for the last two years to present. Find the UPM and figure out how to contact them. You will have to pay him, her something.
Victim of a curse, an Italian man wakes up in a French film, that he destroys from inside with great pleasure, afterward meeting up six movie critics, also smartly fled from six other hated film genres of this parallel out-of-time universe they name Filmland, from which our seven unlikely heroes will try to escape together.

Hows everyone doing out their work wise?? This strike has definitely hit us pretty hard but it's so necessary for our future as filmmakers. Hope everyone is doing well.

I kind of think outside the box, so the strikes do not really affect me that much. I have never worked for the big studios or major production companies. I have always been in the independent world.

Expand commentThat's really awesome of you @neilwatson to re-activate this discussion. There were tens of thousands of us (and now hundreds of thousands of us) who bonded over watching this television pitch deck webinar we did with Netflix and I'd love to see how everyone is doing now. I know that so many people in our Stage 32 community are heads down writing personal projects they've always wanted to write and making sure other projects are in tip top shape for when the strike lifts. Most important, keep creating. Anything we at Stage 32 can do to help support, we are here for you.
@Eugene - glad to hear you are still creating and wishing you the best of luck on your two features you are shooting!
