Hey Mark thanks for reaching out. Lets grab a drink sometime. I'm in Venice.
When Sandy learns that Norman is depressed because Madalyn doesn't want a relationship with him, he takes him to Lisa's cabin in the mountains for the weekend. On the way they get stuck in a snow storm, but are rescued by two hard-partying lesbians on snowmobiles. When Lisa and Madalyn show up in the morning as a surprise and discover two strange women with their men, they leave both Norman and Sandy to ponder what they did wrong.

Whats the best way to find a Black writing partner on Stage 32?
thanks. I'm a white guy writing a black character and it's a sensitive issue and having someone who has lived in that world, would be very helpful to be authentic and also help sell it.

Also, be prepared to answer more in-depth questions about what from their experience you're hoping they can speak to. Urban, Suburban, rural upbringing? Socio-economic background? Male or female identity? Religious or not? Family or career-oriented?
And then you'll want to go into what you'll hope they can bring to the table as a writer - comedy or drama, character-building or dialogue, genre or grounded concepts, etc.
Good luck!
My new film Land of Little Rivers was just released by CInema Libre Studios. landoflittlerivers.com
Land of Little Rivers is a feature documentary about the passion and history of American fly fishing. Filmed in 4k in the beautiful environs of the Catskills in western New York, it's colorful characters, stunning scenery and concerns for conservation make for an entertaining viewing especially for those not familiar with the sport of fly fishing. landoflittlerivers.com
If you're visiting the festival, I hope you have a chance to see the film. Currently writing a feature based on the short. Here's the trailer:
While house hunting in the country, an interracial couple become trapped in an abandoned farm house after they witness the murder of a kidnapped federal judge and must escape from a violent gang of white supremacist.
After receiving an invitation to his high school reunion, a hapless stock car driver returns home to search for his high school sweetheart but a rogue private eye becomes his greatest obstacle to finding the girl who was once his “lucky charm.”
Our crowdfunding campaign, launched yesterday on Seed & Spark, raised 15% of our production budget in less than 1 day! Please visit to view the trailer and share in your social media....it will help us tremendously!

Now in the middle of writing a suspense/thriller feature, and developing a television series for cable networks. I will probably end up being b-coastal. Need to return to L.A. for a few months in the winter, ready to pitch projects. If anyone is interested in swapping homes, let me know. I'm also producing a short film I wrote this fall with a wonderful cast. Looking forward to getting to know this community.

This is a network for you, built by you. Like most things in life, the more you participate, the greater the rewards. We ask all new members to pay it forward by inviting 5 fellow creatives to the network and by spreading the word of Stage 32 through other social media sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. The more creatives, the stronger the network. The stronger the network, the more opportunities.
Thanks for joining the movement and for being a part of this most talented and inspiring community. I very much look forward to your contributions.
Thanks, and have a creative day!
