Hi, all! I just wanted to say, I hope everyone in the Stage 32 community is staying well and safe. As for me, I've worked two screenplays to the point where I'm feeling good enough about them to give to my beta readers and have stared another screenplay and outlined another. What are you working on?
Dash, try focusing on subplot to help carry through the second act as well as midpoint.
I just wrote a simple four page short to sample software.
Ah me too, Bryan! Actually wrote 4 scripts 5 pages each, to be played as a video in a javascript software (an interactive short).
What are you doing to get your screenplay made? Competitions? Pitching? Or ?? Every time I come to the conclusion you have to win competitions, period, someone posts the news that they got an agent/manager on a script that didn't win a single contest and it's getting made into a movie. What do you think is the "right" path?
None right now.
It is my goal to do the whole workflow pretty much on my own. Tonight I start another script.
Wow well that's amazing so many are ready to shoot their own. I never even considered doing that and I only heard of writers doing that here.. Everywhere else I commiserate they are writers, period, end of discussion, it stop's there. lol
When to use filters, and when to not use filters? Addem, correct combinations for different circumstances...

And I will add lens filtration is one of the opportunities a DP still has to burn in at least some of look before someone else gets hold of the RAW and ruins his or her originsl intentions... which happens far too much. Intentional use of a pola, for one, cannot be duplicated in post, nor can it be removed per se. Polas NDs and nets are my usual modern choices. Once in a while I use corals. As for comments on whote balance, a discipline of presets-only goes a long way to better, way more consistant footage... of course you have to learn how to shoot digotal as though it were emulsion. Not a bad thing to learn.

Provided there's good exposure and enough information on the negative or digital file, you can totally change the look. Grading is an art in itself. Sorry for the ridiculous late reply.

This is a network for you, built by you. Like most things in life, the more you participate, the greater the rewards. We ask all new members to pay it forward by inviting 5 fellow creatives to the network and by spreading the word of Stage 32 through other social media sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. The more creatives, the stronger the network. The stronger the network, the more opportunities.
Thanks for joining the movement and for being a part of this most talented and inspiring community. I very much look forward to your contributions.
Thanks, and have a creative day!

Let me know your thoughts. Courses, seminars, hard drives, softwares, equipment I should look into, which Pelican case should I get (right now I'm using small hard suitcase).
THANK YOU. This is very helpful.
