The story of a curious and unconventional girl, that's from first-generation Latin American parents of diverse socio-economic backgrounds and mixed-raced, growing up in the south during the 1960s and 70s. Based on my life events and experiences, growing up in, a mixed-race immigrant family, as a girl, in New Orleans, in the 60s,

SYNOPSIS:

Megan is a child of the 60s - living in New Orleans. She's not your typical little girl nor is she from a typical family. It's also a time when the issues of gender and female stereotypes are being questioned by society. Follow her as meets these challenges head on and develops into a strong, self-reliant, independent, resilient young woman. Based on the experiences of my family life, with my immigrant: parents, grandmother and extended family, along with my first generation American siblings.
