GENRE: Drama

A man takes an emotional journey to build a relationship with his new-found twenty-year-old daughter.

The drama, “Daddy” portrays the story of a well-known radio personality in his late twenties, who meets and develops a sexual relationship with one of his regular listeners. As a result, the couple decides to share an apartment, which in time does not work in their favor. Fed up and frustrated, the man forces the young lady to move out, being unbeknownst to him that she is possibly pregnant with his child. He does not hear from her ever again. Twenty-one years later, a mutual friend informs him that the young lady did indeed have his daughter who is now twenty years old. She gives a perfect description and information supporting her claim. Ironically, the girl perfectly fitting that description lands a career opportunity in the same workplace as the now much older and mature father. As this is discovered, he investigates the details of who this girl really is, and puts his best foot forward to make up for twenty years of lost time as a father. Through the gladness and sadness, he is determined to remain her father-figure for the rest of their lives.
