ANGELA, a slender, attractive Caucasian woman in her late twenties with black hair lays in bed. On the nightstand there is an alarm clock that reads 3:00 AM, a glass of water, a cell phone, and her glasses. A low animal-demon growl is heard in the distant darkness. INSERT: A MAN and WOMAN in there mid-thirties to forties stand in a small circle of 6 masked people dressed in black chanting indistinctly. They each take turns holding up a clear challis that contains blood and drink it. Where a distinct man is the leader of the cult clothe in a red robe. PAN DOWN to reveal a young dark haired girl, YOUNG ANGELA, sitting at their feet, grasping their legs crying. Now we see the man in the red robe call for the sacrifice, and the group begin to push forward the little girl. END INSERT The animal-demon growl getting louder, with multiple growls joining it. Angela is awakened by the dream flashback. She begins to hear the demon-animal growl, her refuge was her bed. Angela flips over to her back, she is mumbling with fear and sweating badly. Then she begins to hear more noises and sits up in the bed and the cell phone rings. The clock reads 3:33 AM. Angela is startled. She reaches over and answers the phone. The growling stops. ANGELA (Tired and distracted) Hello? Angela sits in her bed as we hear a man, MINISTER ROBERT LANE, speaking to her on the phone. MINISTER ROBERT LANE Angela! I apologize I have called at such a God awful hour. I’m just calling to see if you are okay and if you need help with anything.
