GENRE: Drama
LOGLINE:

After witnessing his father’s tragic demise, a boy grows up battling simmering rage, but ten years later, when his father’s nemesis is released from prison, one thing stands between him and revenge.

SYNOPSIS:

Sam Silverthorne (42), a wealthy family man, imminently faces mortality due to a terminal brain tumor. At the hospital, Sam meets a little girl, Sylvie (8), that has a congenital heart condition and desperately needs a heart transplant. Sam and Sylvie discover they have the same rare blood type.

Sam's wife is pressuring him to have another surgery even though it will only extend his life by a matter of months.

Sylvie's father (Alex) is fraught because his daughter is on death's doorstep. Desperate and unhinged, he begins to hunt Sam.

When it becomes obvious to Sam that he will outlive Sylvie, he orchestrates a plot to have Alexander kill him so Sylvie can have his heart. Sam's family is unaware of his plan.

Ten years after Sam's death, his son Levi is now twenty-one. Alex is released from prison and Levi must choose between forgiveness and revenge.

I can tell this is going to be an emotional film and the choice Levi has to make is going to be really tough, Heath W. Miller.

I suggest changing "Levi Silverthorne" to "a _______ (the main flaw he has to overcome in the script or an adjective that describes his personality)." Names in loglines are usually for biopics, well-known stories, and franchises (like Mission: Impossible).
