In the time I haven’t been on here, I’ve been working on my biggest project - my son! He’s turning 3 at the end of May. I’m always tired but equally grateful. What a gift!

As for writing, I decided to do The Artist’s Way towards the end of last year and during that process I put a call out for screenwriters keen on forming a writers group. A posse of wonderful humans came my way and I have since been working on a dystopian short screenplay to get back into the swing of things!

Hi everyone!

Ive been a member for the longest time but have so far failed to step out from the internet shadows... so, hi! I’m usually not this shy!

I’m Kristy Best (yes, that’s my real name). I’m an ad Children’s TV Host, Actor and Filmmaker who really wants to get her act together and write and produce a whole lot more in 2021! All support and help is welcome.

Now, dark comedy is my jam, the darker the better; however, 2020 inspired me to dream up a really sweet children’s animation project I’m hoping to find the right team for and further develop. If you’re trying to do the same, or looking for educational kids content to co-produce - reach out!

I’ve grown very used to wearing a lot of hats and going it alone thus far, but I’d like to change that moving forward and find some like-minded creatives to collaborate with or at the very least rally alongside!

I made my first web series in 2019, How to Know If You’re Dating a Narcissist, and the plan is to follow it up with some more quirky content for women in 2021 via my prod co, Sweary Canary.
