About Brandon

Brandon is a versatile cinematographer with an enthusiastic perspective for storytelling and photography, creating a cinematic experience for all audiences. Accolades include several cinematography awards, mentorships, and active membership with the Society of Camera Operators (SOC).

His spark for filmmaking started at a young age, where his enthusiasm for movies and comics encouraged his passion for being an animator. However, his love for photography and cinema history led him to film school, where he studied directing and the art of cinematography. Whilst his main focus is on cinematography, Brandon has always championed passion projects by producing, directing, and sometimes a bit of scriptwriting on the side.

With a career in many genres, documentaries and scripted comedies have been at the forefront, notably twenty + short documentaries, which explore ordinary people doing extraordinary things, always searching for the humanity, spirit, and the comedy that lives in all of us.

When he's not filming or developing, Brandon spends his time with his wife and two daughters, enjoying the outdoors and what family has to offer. If it's his curious nature that allows for creative thought, then it’s his adventurous spirit that brings life to all of his projects, finding solutions, educating himself in new things and technology, and always improving upon his craft in filmmaking.
