About Moreen

Moreen Littrell is the author of LOST IN MANHATTAN, a novel (roman a clef) and a Top 10 Amazon bestseller (Kindle). She is also a contributing author to two comedy monologue books. (BOOK TRAILER for LOST IN MANHATTAN: )

Moreen is also a director, producer, actress and comedienne. She has written and directed projects for top TV prodcos and networks including a pilot for Freeform. As a former development executive for Outpost Entertainment, an ITV subsidiary, she developed many unscripted shows including "Forged in Fire" (History Channel). Her short film, MEET THE ZILLAS won "Best Film Audience Award" at the Los Angeles Underground Film Festival. She has also directed off-Broadway sketch comedy.

Moreen made her stand-up debut ten years ago and within two months was offered a contract for her debut comedy album by the producers behind Whitney Cummings and Dane Cook. (Don't look for it, she ultimately passed it up in favor of honing her craft more.)

Earlier in career, Moreen was a fashion designer in NYC, and a celebrity personal assistant to Rob Reiner, Rob Schneider, the last Mrs. Cary Grant, and a certain fashion designer serving as inspiration in her novel. She missed being the nanny to Steven Spielberg’s son by a hair. And also because she had no experience.

Moreen has a B.A. in Creative Writing and Cinematic Arts from the University of Southern California and a chihuahua named Fellini. Originally from Oregon, she lived in Manhattan for eight years and now resides in Los Angeles.
