SYNOPSIS:
After their relationship has gone as far as it can, Mary begins to pack her former lover’s things. Like so many times before, Jack’s problems take center stage, leaving Mary to coach him through his feelings one last time.

I like this start quite a lot, Taylor! However, is it their "final moment" because she's leaving him, because he's dying, or both? We'd love to make that clearer just to know precisely what's at stake in the story.
It might also be helpful to have the inciting incident specified here. What specifically was the final straw that made this woman "grow tired" of caring for this painter?
