Anyone have recommends on what was the best acting class you took and why? I did a little meisner at Playhouse West and beginner at Bernard Hiller. Was thinking of going to Jen Kramer as a few of my actress friends recommended her. Thanks!!

I've seen it posted before, and it's true - agents/managers like to see UCB or Groundlings on your resume because it tends to help them get you in for comedy auditions. My friend Alex runs this acting school, https://foractorsbyactors.com/, and I was a guest speaker for him once, sharing my POV as a producer. I'm not sure if his current class offerings are geared toward beginners or all levels, so if you're interested, please do check to be sure it's the right fit for you.
Thanks Regina! I did take a class at uprights a while back, but might try Groundlings. Mostly more interested in Drama right now, but obviously need both skills.
I just did a six week Meisner intensive at Baron Brown in Santa Monica, and I loved it there... I felt very comfortable there, the Instructors were wonderful and I learned so much. I have studied Meisner in the past, and I found this school to be the best...I've been to a few.
