There are songs that aren’t just heard.
They settle.
They lie beside you.
They close their eyes, as if they understand what you carry in silence.
When I listen to Nene, I stop thinking.
I become again.
Something slower, gentler.
Maybe a child.
Or simply… a breath.
The piano falls like raindrops you’re not afraid to feel.
Nothing rushes.
Each note is a hand resting quietly on your shoulder.
I don’t know what Masakatsu saw when he composed it.
But I see a sunlit room.
A white curtain moving gently.
The world outside.
And someone I loved, still alive.
It’s not a song that tells a story.
It reminds.
And what it reminds me of…
Is myself, before the weight, before the noise, before the questions.
I could listen to it on repeat.
Not to escape.
But to return.

"Sometimes a piece of music reminds you that life can be soft. That time can slow down.
I listened to Nene by Masakatsu Takagi again tonight. And suddenly… I wasn’t here anymore. I was somewhere between a childhood dream and a place that doesn’t exist.
The world felt quieter. My breath, lighter.
Isn’t it incredible how music can make life feel more beautiful — without changing anything, just by changing the way we feel it?"

Koby Nguyen , I listened and it is a truly beautiful piece of music. It has a great calming effect and carries me off to a better place. I am including a link to one of my songs which is mostly made up of nonsense words. If you do get a chance to listen, I would enjoy hearing what you think of it. May all of your listening adventures be pleasant.
