Anything Goes : Unsolicited Requests for a Script? by Bill Brock

Hello, Screenplay Scribe People of Earth—

I’ve received quite a few unsolicited script requests from festivals for the same title, my child abduction screenplay, WHERE’S GRACE?.

Have any other writers experienced the same? I just find it odd that I’ve submitted all eight of my scripts to nationwide competitions and film festivals, yet it is only this one title that is mentioned to me in emails. Emails from competitions that I’ve never entered. I refuse to open any of them and quickly delete them.

Possible scamming? Phishing? An introduction to malware?
