Hi everyone — I’m Josephine Florens.
I’m a visual artist and the creator of LACTIMOLS — a speculative psychological fantasy now completed at 60 chapters and being developed as a limited series.
At this stage, the pilot episode of the series is completed, based on the events of the opening narrative arc.
LACTIMOLS is not about invasion.
It is about permeability.
The story begins in an ordinary house — with a technical malfunction, a market encounter, a subtle shift in perception. What seems like an isolated incident unfolds into a layered reality where unseen species coexist alongside us: Seruses, Pteroseruses, Shi-moo, and the ancient Lactimols.
As the chapters progress, the scale expands from domestic unease to mythic architecture:
birth that is not symbolic but biological,
death that is ceremonial and luminous,
a dome that protects one layer of existence from another,
and a stone-metal force named Grun preparing something far larger.
Bodies change.
Walls respond.
Creatures speak.
War approaches quietly.
Yet the core remains intimate: a house, a small circle of people, and the question of what it means to protect a fragile emerging species within a reality that refuses to stay singular.
My background in visual art shapes the structure — atmosphere first, then psychological fracture, then metaphysical expansion. Every chapter builds not spectacle, but pressure.
LACTIMOLS is conceived as a 6–8 episode limited series driven by contained settings, biological tension, and mythic substructure rather than conventional sci-fi tropes.
If you are interested in layered speculative storytelling with strong visual identity and philosophical depth, I would be glad to connect.
