So I was lucky enough to pitch my Irish werewolf film at the Berlin film festival recently as part of the junior entertainment talent scheme (JETS).
Went down well but alas we didn't come home with the 'winner' certificates.
We did however grab the attention of a number of the reps who were there, financiers, sales agents and distributors.
Already in discussions with them after post zoom calls.. and I quote 'we can sell this film to the US easily... EASILY'. Companies like Lionsgate were mentioned, showtime etc.
It's a massive step for our little team to have this end of it covered but we do still have to raise the funds.
This just makes things a lot easier now as we've almost guaranteed the money back to whoever partners up with us. Now.. next step..

Congratulations on making progress with your project, Rob! It's another reminder that things happen when and how they're supposed to. Winner certificates aren't everything. Getting the attention of someone who believes in you and your ideas is invaluable. I can't wait to hear what happens next for you and your team!
