This is like asking for someone’s favour singer. I use writerduet. All their products. But I spend weeks in Google docs working on a story before I even open it up.
The software (screenwriting) is good for formatting. The hard work is done in your head.
Depends on your budget, really. There are plenty of decent programs out there, from Final Draft to Fade In,. Maybe try the various trial versions to see what suits you. (And if you decide you want to go with Final Draft, I might be able to help you with a discount.)
I was using Writer Duet for months and learned about Writer Solo, a free program for Mac and Windows. I'm using it now for a pilot and its nearly identical to Writer Duet but instead of saving to the cloud, it saves to your HD. I'd try out Writer Duet and see if you like it. If you want to install Writer Solo, you can get it here: t.ly/7tfQ

The best is whatever brings out the best writer in you. Try all that you can. Here's a list.

I use Fade in. Not too expensive and so far, I really like it.
