For any newbies out there like me I want to warn you about celtex.com for the mac. Sometimes there is a glitch when you save a file. If you restart your computer it may delete your entire work. The only way to avoid this is to save your file in "movies" on your computer. Who knows it might just be my computer but I didn't want to see this happen to anyone else. Other than that celtex is free for those starting out and I like it.
Thanks for the heads up. Certainly always worth keeping backups when you can.
I never had any problems with the software on the PC, just the mac. But, like I said as long as you save it to movies you are fine. I wrote and completed a screenplay on this software that I am about to pitch to the executives on this site. Not a bad software for free. There are lots of sites to get free screenplays to for study like simplyscripts.com. A screenwriter just starting out can find almost anything they need for free.

I've never had a problem with it on Mac. I save all of my files to Dropbox so if anything happens to the computer (crashes, sudden doom, etc.), the files are still saved in the cloud.
That's good news Monique. Like I said, maybe it was my computer.
