Screenwriting : Logline podcast by Craig D Griffiths

Logline podcast

I had a podcast a few years ago, it ran for over 100 episodes (business and marketing - "Making Business and Sales Work - still in iTunes). I was thinking of starting another one. But I was thinking of reviewing loglines. Getting listener feedback on the loglines etc. My question is would anyone be interested?

Tomasz Mieczkowski

Hi Craig, I always like to listen to podcasts, but you probably need more listeners than just me. :) We have 3 webinars all about loglines and I watched them all: https://www.stage32.com/webinars?search=loglines - always great to hear other people's opinions.

John Serafinko

Hi Craig. I think there is nothing wrong with reviewing loglines as long as they have been copyrighted. Business and marketing topics are also great to learn from, but reviewing loglines gives the writer a good sense of whether or not it is worth to pursue the script they have in mind behind them. Also, the more time spent online focusing on their work and not a business approach might be what a lot of people are looking for. I myself think about the business end after the creative process is completed. Just my opinion.

Tomasz - thanks I'll take a look. I can't find enough listening content for me, so I may have to create it. John - never thought of combining both disciplines. Thanks. Would you post a logline if I go ahead with the idea?

John Serafinko

I will find the right logline as soon as I see your work.

Craig D Griffiths

I review heaps of lines at www.logline.it Otherwise you'll have to wait and listen to the podcast

Erik Grossman

I love me a good podcast! Especially in LA traffic lol. It helps soothe the pain.

Craig D Griffiths

Erik they are commute heaven. I have "broken projector", "draft zero", " scriptnotes" and "writers panel" on my favourites.
