Success Stories: MAY'7 Boom/Clap!

Dayna Burnworth

Boom/Clap!

Requested by Provenance Pictures! Last night I pitched my apocalyptic thriller, Blind World to Steven J. Berger, founder of Provenance Pictures and I got the coveted REQUESTED email just now. Yay me! In truth, one if the things I enjoy about pitching a piece is that I find new branches in the work. There are always new questions asked and new answers I need to know or realize I already do. I always think of writing/storytelling in terms of a tree growing. With each revision, I prune. I fertilize. With each pitch or meeting, a new branch. One day, it will bear fruit. As each root takes hold, a branch reaches for light. Soon, a leaf apears. I look forward to the harvest.
