Hello all, My name is Mike A. Pender. I am an independent filmmaker from Philadelphia, PA. I direct, write, produce. I have been honored by winning The Silver Award at Philafilm for "Best Short Film Subject". I was honored with being apart of "Best of Fest" at the International Black Media Festival in Oxford, England. My satirical film, "The Negro Zone" is a required film at the University of Wyoming. I have made 1 local commercial, 1 sizzle reel, 5 music videos, 2 feature length films, 9 short films and various other projects. Still looking for the big budget or distribution deal to put me over the top to make it a full time job. My latest film project, "Swing" is actually an excerpt from the feature length screenplay.
