No, but it's most likely another way to separate writers from their hard earned money. Read McKee or other books. Better yet, read scripts. Analyze films and TV.

Teach yourself - start with a copy of The Screenwriter's Bible by Dave Trottier. It cost about $25. That and a couple of books specifically on story structure and content and you've learned way more than some online course can ever provide. It's a hell of a lot cheaper and you'll have a few books on your shelf for reference.
