My name is Katie, I'm new to Stage 32 and trying to meet more people in this vast industry.
I am based in New York and was most recently a news producer for a local station.
While being an introverted hermit for the majority of the year, I have gotten a burst of creative energy and have started working on scripts and reminding myself I do know how to use Premiere and After Effects. Looking forward to new projects in 2021.

Do you mind if I ask - what made you want to depart from the news/broadcast industry? I was just telling an intern on set that there were a TON of jobs in broadcast news if she was interested, but I'd love for you to post in the Producing Lounge about what she maybe should know before she goes that route: https://www.stage32.com/lounge/producing

Karen "Kay" Ross I just got notifications about these comments. I've written a 1 hour pilot and currently polishing a Christmas movie. The editing is personal projects at the moment to help keep my sanity and skills up.
