It's been a really long time since I've been on Stage 32. It's a new year and I really would love to see if a tv show idea (fashion/style) has legs and looking for help to flush it out.
Wow, it has been a while since you joined - welcome back! Also, a background in voice and radio is TOTALLY welcome here! You can imagine with the lockdown, voice-over and home studios has been a hot topic in the Acting Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/acting) and I'm sure you'll find more broadcasting professionals to network with in the Producing Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/producing). Have you met my friend Jill A. Hargrave? She's a fantastic lady and you'd enjoy learning from her broadcasting background: https://www.stage32.com/jaheagle
Is your TV show idea considered unscripted or reality? Or is it fictional/narrative? Either way, you would need to write your pilot before pitching the idea - if you pitch it and they like it, the next question would be "will you send me the script?" You can also post your logline on your profile so visiting members can give you feedback on the concept or contact you directly to inquire about it: https://www.stage32.com/loglines
Keep in mind that these lounges are like the VIP Filmmaker's Lounges at Film Festivals, so this is where you can meet the people doing the work, get advice on anything you're working on, and/or give back to those who may need advice. We're a very supportive and encouraging community! I think you'd also enjoy my intro blog post on how to engage with the Stage32 Community:
Enjoy exploring the lounges, and don't forget to comment and respond to others’ posts, too! It's the best way to really connect! And, of course, feel free to reach out at any time. Cheers!
Hey, Marie Mercurius! My name is Kay, I'm the Community Manager here at Stage 32. If you'd like to learn more about myself and the Stage32 Team, we have an intro blog: https://www.stage32.com/blog/Meet-the-Stage-32-Team Nice to meet you!
