Hello everyone! My name is Simon.
I am an Actor and Director, Italian born and recently become Canadian.
I have been a member since May 2021, however I never took the chance to introduce myself as I felt "I wasn't ready". For some strange reason I was scared of doing something of such simplicity.
I look up to many in this industry with the desire to learn and become as good.
I first want to thank you for your contributions,. Your stories and experiences inspire me.
During my years spent and hustled through the Australian industry, were I studied acting and started off at the age of 27, after spending the last 18 months in the dark (I believe we all know what happened then on this planet) I now decided to come out and present to the world (and to you) two projects I have been writing/developing since the very beginning of the global pandemic.
The first one is a Comedy TV Series called HOTEL FOR NO-HOPERS, for which we shot its teaser trailer. if you like comedy and you would like to see something very refreshing and different, please visit www.hotelfornohopers.com
The second one I created, inspired by a true story and developed with the help (in consultation) with an organization, is a Feature Film that rotates around subjects that have heavy presence within our society, especially of today. Mental Health.
With this introduction I genuinely wish to connect with likeminded creatives.

Great to meet you, Simone Neviani, and welcome to the community! Wow - first off, kudos on your series! It took a lot of energy to get anything done during the pandemic, and it's so inspiring to see that you buried your head in the sand to focus on the craft - and now you're coming up with a gem to offer! That's awesome!
Second - congrats on your successful career in Australia, that's incredible! What brought you to Vancouver? I myself am in LA, but Vancouver is on my bucket list!
Where are you at with your two projects? Are you looking for feedback or are you ready to start pitching them to executives?

Hello everyone and sorry for the lateness in replying but I was relocating from Australia to Canada.
I am currently in Toronto to attend the upcoming film festivals throughout September and October as my film will have its Canadian premiere.

Karen "Kay" Ross in answer to your questions:
- My TV Series is currently ready for pitching to Network and we are open to co-produce the series in association with a production company either US or Canadian based. Treatment/Pitch Deck ready as well as draft of the pilot episode of its first season.
- Feature Film: 5th draft of the screenplay ready and I have done the coverage through Stage32 member and got back with very positive feedback. Currently working the treatment/pitch deck however I would need assistance for the budgeting and creating a financial plan.

Hey Simone! Welcome to Toronto, hope you enjoy your time in our city and congratulations on your film's premier! Do you have any details on when it will be playing at the festival? I'd absolutely buy a ticket to check it out! Is your relocation permanent or will you just be staying until the festival ends?
