I think it's wild that Ashton is endorsing something that could replace him and others in the industry, Suzanne Bronson. I've been hearing from people in the industry that what Ashton is talking about will just be a niche thing.
The dude is hanging out with the CEO. Unlike many of us who are not famous & uber rich. AK has a huge fan following/regular ppl who are not in show business. They're customers!
AK could make millions endorsing this software. Maybe he has a secret stock deal. Who knows?
I personally think it will take a long time for Ai to get to the point where it can generate a feature film via text prompt -- at least one with a consistent story and look. And it may never get good enough to generate a movie that looks real. Ai's biggest contributions will be in the realm of VFX and sound.
Kutcher's argument about the cost of locations is valid -- right now we have Unreal Engine which lets you do some amazing virtual production, and you don't have to worry about Ai getting the location wrong.
I use Ai in DaVinci Resolve Studio to help with roto work, fixing audio & lighting issues in Post. It's really made "We'll fix it in Post" actually possible!
AI will make it possible for a lot of people to easily make cheap movies. I think that the movie industry will disappear and everyone who wants can become a filmmaker. Look at photographers! Now everyone is a photographer! Good or bad? I think it's just the way it IS. No need to judge.
hi! you heard the latest news? AI developers want to limit access to common users to AI capabilities. in general, as always all the advantages will receive rich corporations with huge opportunities for advertising and sales. the rest will be free to create content for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
I agree, Richard "RB" Botto! He's always taken a lot of pride in being an early tech investor across multiple fields. I think I'd be more surprised if it was an area that he was steering clear of.
Ai will never be able to out work your creativity Suzanne Bronson and when Ai writes without great prompts and ideas, it really sucks, boring. Best of luck to the Prankster. Cheers.

Dan MaxXx Kutcher has invested in this software years ago. That's why he's endorsing it.
Suzanne Bronson so he is all-in. I dont hate the dude for reinventing show business. Let's check again in year 2030.

I find it not surprising since he has investments in a dozen AI companies.

Vested interest, no doubt. Making himself no fans from the creative community, however.

Not sure Ashton Kutcher is the best messenger for authoritative takes like this...
