Hi, Stage 32 peeps. My name is Bill "McSciFi" McCormick. I, obviously, write science fiction but also dabble in horror. My wife informed me yesterday that I had turned 63, so that was fun. I have a new book out called "Stuff About Things," which is a collection of short stories, nonfiction articles, pieces I did as support documents for a Fox Radio show I was a guest on for 12 years, and some other ramblings.
My wife calls it the perfect gateway drug to McSciFi.
I like meeting new people and am based in Chicago if you feel the uncontrollable urge to buy me a drink.

Thanks Maurice Vaughan, I got it from an Amazon rep when the Zon screwed up my account and credited me with every book ever written by anyone named Bill McCormick. A common name in Chicago. As he sorted the titles, he said, "This goes to Bill McSports, this goes to Bill McCountry, this goes to Bill McGod, and these should all go to Bill McSciFi." I had the domain registered in less than a week.

You're welcome, Bill McCormick. I remember you telling me the story. And that time the young lady or girl thought you were Bill Nye the Science Guy.

Howdy Ashley Renée Smith, I know that the entertainment industry has short memories, so I figure it's worth a minute to pop up a new post.

Hi Sam Rivera. For movies, it's WIZARDS. For literature, it's Walter Michael Miller Jr.'s A Canticle for Leibowitz. But my top ten list in either category probably has twenty titles each.

Hi Rudra Mazumder, you can always read my stuff. If you go to https://billmcscifi.com/novels.html, you can download a PDF of The Brittle Riders: Book 1 for free. It's a great way to get addicted to the series.
