I'm working directly with the popular novelist Ingrid McCarthy, on a feature screenplay of her "Anna's Shadow" novel. After 2 professional coverages we're almost finished 3rd draft. Yay!

York Davis

I live in Ottawa Canada and the temptation to go out and see the fabulous Fall colours on a gorgeous, sunny Fall day is almost over-whelming. But still have that 3rd draft to finish!!!

Maurice Vaughan

Hi, York Davis. Anna's Shadow sounds fantastic! I'm looking forward to watching it! Congratulations on the progress with the third draft!

York Davis

Thanks Maurice Vaughan. The co-author/novelist has contacts in the film industry, waiting to see what we've got to offer. We should ir ready to go in a few days, after 4 months work.

Maurice Vaughan

You're welcome, York Davis. That's great! Keep us posted on Anna's Shadow.

Nick Phillips

I appreciate the discipline in focusing on writing over foliage York Davis! I'm sure it isn't easy, kudos!

York Davis

It really is lovely, Nick Phillips, including the summer-like weather. The foliage is spectacular but won't last long. I see you've been involved in some interesting film projects. What are you working on now?

York Davis

I've had nothing yet produced, but have had 'I Love You, Oscar Wilde' a feature optioned to 2024 and another feature, 'Kitty', my own New Zealand mother's pre-feminist drama story optioned to 2025. Gotta love those historical dramas!!! LOL!

Maurice Vaughan

Congratulations on the options, York Davis!
