For what it's worth, here's the logline for my script "Witches and Warriors".

A teenager is unexpectedly transported from 1990 to the 1960s, where he becomes entangled in the world of hippies, the Vietnam War, and the paranormal, forcing him to confront his own destiny and the power of the past.

I remember back in 1968 during Tet wondering whether anything positive would come out for me about my involvement in the War. Well, it took awhile but it's lead to two award-winning scripts, "Nobody's Heroes" and "Witches and Warriors" with a 3rd one in the offing "The Senior Center Assassin".

Congratulations, Everyone and thank you so much for advancing Rescue Team 7 into Quarterfinals!

Logline: After a sudden promotion into a covert animatronic rescue unit, a teenage team is thrust into life-threatening missions to recover soul-harvested robots—only to uncover a vast conspiracy where cults, corporations, and government forces traffic human souls for power and control.

Comps: Criminal Minds, Gravity Falls, The Haunting of Hill House

Thank You Stage32 and Pat Alexander for advancing two of the three episodes of my Modern Horrors limited series - "Pseudoscents" and "The Tower" - to the quarterfinal round. Congrats to all the participants, and can't wait to see what advances next round.

Series Logline: Loving mothers fight for family, friends, and community in three terrifying tales of principled women forced to do battle with warped, hyper-competitive, technologically empowered men.

Comp: "Modern Horrors: Volume 1" is a limited science-fiction/body-horror anthology series that combines the grounded tech anxiety of "Black Mirror," the blunt politicism of "Heretic," and the soul-crushing hopelessness of "Seven" into an intense, terrifying evocation of left-leaning America’s Trump 2.0/Project 2025 dread.

PREACHER’S DAUGHTER; GIANT SLAYER is a genre-subverting labor of love blending Biblical truths with modern day warfare as a Delta Force Sniper and Preacher’s daughter discovers Genesis 6:4 is true and she’s the last of a Bloodline that must fast Nephilim Giants in Afghanistan. It’s Blackhawk Down meets The Book of Eli by way of Constantine.

Whoops! Forgot to add my logline:

Outsider teen Ellie doesn’t believe she’s special, but that’s about to change. After her mother dies, Ellie moves in with her mysterious grandmother and is shocked to discover her family are Guardians, secret powerful warriors who protect their town from evil creatures hell-bent on killing humans. As she trains with her grandmother and struggles to be a “normal” teen, Ellie breaks The Guardian Code by enlisting her new friends to help her fight. But will this be enough to destroy the murderous creatures before it’s too late?

Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets The Karate Kid with a side of Beowulf.

Again, congrats to all!

Very excited to be part of this with The Jewels of Menageron, a grounded sci-fi/fantasy adventure feature film which takes a fear of spiders and turns it into something unexpected. Here's the logline:

When a young man looking for a new life arrives on a low tech, primitive planet, he grows up fast when he makes a vicious enemy, falls in love with a powerful shaman healer, and has to make a difficult choice.

Congratulations to all the Quarter Finalists and best wishes for the next round!

The logline for my series:
