Hi everyone! I’ve just uploaded my short experimental film The Sound Upstairs — a 3-minute piece exploring tension and perception through sound and silence.
Shot with natural light and improvised direction.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on pacing, atmosphere, and visual storytelling.

Great job on The Sound Upstairs!
I think the pacing is really well (the film slowly builds up to the scares).
The shots, lighting, and music make the movie unsettling.
You were able to tell the story visually without dialogue, and I wasn't confused by what was going on.

Congratulations on finishing The Sound Upstairs.

Nice job. A layer or two sfx could have been added at few intervals for a greater depth

This is an excellent example showing that you don't need expensive equipment, a big team, polished dialogue, vfx, A.I., etc. etc. to tell your story. Great job! (As for nitty-picky feedback, maybe the colors are a bit too warm, but that is of secondary importance.)

@Karlo Thanks for share, well done. Imaginative piece. Low monosyllabic background hum & normal household domestic foleys we actually hear in real life, worked well.
