Hey, everyone. I’m a screenwriter, ghostwriter, commercial writer, pitch deck designer, and Stage 32 Lounge Moderator in the Screenwriting Lounge and Writers’ Room Lounge. What's one of your wins from 2025/what’s one of your goals for 2026?
I do too, Billy Kwack. Members might miss your introduction post in the Introduce Yourself Lounge, and new people who join Stage 32 might not see your post, so I suggest reintroducing yourself again and again.
Happy New Year, Maurice! I'd say my biggest win this year has to be taking a break and rediscovering my voice when writing. Writing became easier for me ever since then. My hope for 2026 is to make another short film! I miss filming and editing. I'd love to know your win this year and your goal for 2026 is.
Happy New Year, Devany Pamiza! Congratulations on taking a break and rediscovering your voice when writing! I need to get better at taking breaks. Hope you reach your goal! I'm looking forward to watching your short film!
I've had a lot of wins this year. I wrote scripts, ghostwriting jobs, made connections, pitch deck jobs, and more. My main goal for 2026 is sell 1-3 feature scripts.
Happy new year everyone! I think the main win is being more active on this platform, winning the first week of NWC and the lightbulb moments I've had where I've felt like I can actually do this/getting out of my overthinking mind a little. So many of those clicks have come about because of something I've read here so thank you to all the incredible people on this platform.
2025 - Learned so much this year, some of which on Stage 32
- Four TV Pilots written, Series designed and pitched. Happy, even though the 30-minute comedy series was resoundingly rejected, three others are still in there, with producers
.
- Two movies written and pitching, one of which is, in my opinion, incredible, both still with producers. The incredible one is my first ever Romantic Comedy.
Happy New Year, Maurice! My goals for 2026 are to write some new songs, write new comedy material, rewrite some comedy material I already have and I'm going to make it a goal this summer to do my own comedy show. I feel like it's a lot to expect of myself and I'm even asking myself, can I do all of this?
2025 - I wrote a short film screenplay without AI assistance and it took three months (April 1st-July 25th) and realized the play was too long to be called a short film screenplay.
Since October 2025, I joined Stage 32 and decided to wrote screenplays with AI assistance and finished screenplays within two or three days since the success of AI assistance.
By November 2025, I wrote 11 screenplays. 7 TV Pilots, and 4 Short Films. Three weeks ago, I wrote a Christmas short film screenplay that is meant to be a TV film. But within the last two weeks, I aborted the "Zoo Girls P.I." concept but not giving it up though. I let the AI to create visual design bibles in order to make my animation description complete.
Two animation bibles: One is called Mobia Studios where the design and world-building is fully bipedal anthropomorphic animal animations that is a human skeletal structural version of Sonic the Hedgehog (Video Game/IDW Comic Book adaptation) and human heights and helps out kid-friendly or family-friendly concepts like "City Knights", "Starbright", "Typhoon", and "The S-Guards", adult animation concepts like "Compass & Rose Agency", "The Randall Job", Unlike most adult animations where is satirical, dark humor, cynicism, and gory violence. My animation will have none of those factors and made the tone brighter and positive. And even further expansions like feature-length film movies that are solely focused on family like "Ben & Laura" and "The Terrific Trio" they're both superhero movies and short films like "The Inner Beauty", "My Superhero Girlfriend", and "The Glow Up."
The other is a called Mobia Echo where the design and world-building of animal-shifting animation (Like a male is 6'1" human, he is a 6'1" anthropomorphic dog like a German shepherd) are called "Echoes". That kind of animation would help "Zoo Girls P.I." nourish and other shows like "The K-9 Dummies" and "The Divorcees". These kind of TV concepts are all adult animations but like I said, brighter tones and heartfelt positively. Also, a feature-length film on the animation should be family-friendly slice of life or Fantasy or even Science Fiction.
By 2026, with my plan making a one concept come to life, I should be able find the matter of reaching out outside of Stage 32, if I'm lucky though. Anyway, Happy New Year!
Happy New Year, Haley Mary! You can do it! I’m rooting for you to reach your goals! I’m looking forward to hearing your new songs and watching your Comedy material and show!
Congratulations on committing to developing your Fantasy film project, Farhod Hamroyev! I'm rooting for you to reach your goal in 2026! Keep us posted on your project. Happy New Year!
