Very interesting progression of 3 status changes in the course of one day. First, "Chasing Mary" received an Official Selection notification in the WOMEN EMPOWERMENT FEATURE category in the morning yesterday (4/30/26) which was gratifying in itself. By mid-day, the status had advanced to WINNER in that category. By late afternoon, the status advanced to FINALIST in the festival at large. Quite a dizzying array but welcome sequence of events :)
