My short NINE LIVES just added a new accolade — Semi‑Finalist in the Hollywood Just4Shorts Film & Screenplay Competition — joining its recent Official Selection from Independent Shorts Awards (LA) and its first award win.
I’ve been developing Nine Lives as a contained, long‑take action short built around spatial storytelling, grounded choreography, and an emotional spine centered on a man descending a sealed high‑rise during a lockdown to save the one life he refuses to lose.
The early festival response has been encouraging. One jury described the script as “some of the most visual and confident screenwriting of the season,” highlighting the film’s atmosphere, pacing, and the nine‑lives structure that drives the tension and emotional scope. Seeing the project connect at this stage — across multiple festivals — has been energizing.
I’m continuing visual development and pipeline testing as I move toward production. If you’re an animator or visual artist interested in grounded action, atmospheric environments, and character‑driven storytelling, I’d be glad to connect.
More development frames soon.
