My name is Kyler Lopez! I'm a start-up independent film maker who loves writing his own material and is currently going to school studying digital cinematography! I've also been doing performing arts in general since I was 8, having started with theater and dance, and have loved being in the entertainment industry! I love writing sci-fi, action, adventure, fantasy, comedies, and all different kinds of films! I've been doing film making since I was very young and am looking forward to putting these talents into the industry!
I have written many films that I've been looking at putting out their for production or for producing myself! They range from films that can be animated to live-action films across all different kinds of genres and I love pushing myself to try and either bring them to life or write a genre I've never touched! I'm really looking forward to seeing how this platform can help me network and move towards my goal of advancing in the filmmaking industry!

Kyler, I love that you’re not limiting yourself to one genre or one side of filmmaking... that curiosity will serve you well! Since you’re studying cinematography while also writing and developing your own projects, spend some time in our Cinematography Lounge as well. There are working cinematographers there who can be a great resource as you develop your craft and start bringing these projects to life. Keep creating!

Your creative enthusiasm comes through so clearly, and I love that you’ve been immersed in performing arts and filmmaking since you were young. That kind of long relationship with the craft gives you such a deep well to draw from.
