Hi! My name is Margaret Avnet a screenwriter based in Levittown NY. Any one interested in reading any of my shorts or features just send me a message. Looking for a producer for my short about Countess Constance Markievicz's involvement in the Easter Rebellion. Already have a director. Again if anyone is interested in this project just send me a message. Keep on creating!
Hi Kathleen: Yeah I'm familiar with the area. I went to Holy Trinity mumble mumble years ago. Live a mile from the school. Small world, huh?
Love my furbabies even if they do like to sit in front of my monitor. My grey tabby, Potcheen is worse then my black tabby Dublin.
No they don't do any typing. But they are good at spotting typos.
Yes they are very useful and don't judge you.
Don't have a Skype account thought I'm sure Potcheen would make himself right at home. As for good studio notes probably yes if those who read it could get past the paw prints.
I suppose it's better then the rep being a dog person.
Wish me luck taking my furbabies in for their rabbies shot. There be a lot of commenting especially from Potcheen, but he never stays mad at me for long.
They never got their shots. It was a free rabbies clinic and we couldn't find the place. I felt sorry for my furbabies being in their cat carriers so long.... and for nothing.
I take they were not happy much like my guys!
Wow that's amazing! At least they had body heat. But I can see where NO ONE is happy in that situation.
30+ pounds! Wow! I used to have a Maine Coon, Brandon, he was between sixteen and eighteen pounds, the biggest cat I've ever had. He was an attention whore. He'd come into a room when we had people over and it's like everything stopped so they could pet him.
Kathryn are you sure you didn't have a small pony? Kathleen Maine Coons are just such beautiful cats. That's not to say that I don't love my tabbies Potcheen and Dublin to pieces!
Cool! What color was he? Brandon was orange.
Kathryn... So cute! Kathleen cats always demand attention whether sitting in front of your computer or "characters" in a script.
I know what you mean I miss my Brandon as well. He was a real sweetheart.
So true. You become so attached.
Yeah I know what you mean.
Took my two furbabies to get blessed yesterday at my local parish. While there was some commenting in the car they were very well behaved during the service.
Just love the furbabies.....
Took the furbabies in for their rabies shot yesterday. The town's animal shelter was offering $10.00 shots. As always there were comments but overall they behaved themselves.
The county was actually offering the shots for free a few weeks ago but we couldn't find the place! I'm old fashioned I looked it up on an actual map. We went there and no rabies clinic. I map quested it and found that it was literally on the other side of the train tracks! Still I"m happy the furbabies got their shots.
Well since 2004 there have been 67 rabid raccoons reported in the county. I don't know if that's a big problem. I haven't seen racoons around our area. But we do have opposums. In fact last Saturday my sister found one asleep in one of our garbage cans. So better safe then sorry even though our furbabies are strictly in door cats
Yes, I don't understand why people would let there cats out on their own. When I was a little girl we had a cat that was very good at getting out of the house. He would bring rabbits back to us. But unfortunately when my cousin was babysitting us he got out and was hit by a car and was killed.
Yeah I know what you mean. Whenever there is a sad story on the news about cats, we had an awful story here on Long Island where someone slit the throats of four new born kittens, that I just have to give my babies some love. By the way the reward for the low life who did that awful things to the kittens is up to $5000. I hope they grab whoever did it.
what bought have ur short film
If more people would hug cats the world would be a much better place.

Kathleen it's funny you said fuzz therapy. We had a cat Mac Gyver and we said he was a fuzz therapist. My Dad after he retired from the Parks Department worked as a limo driver. He had a photo of Mac Gyver in his brief case and would look at it if he needed fuzz therapy.
Unfortunately both my Dad and Mac Gyver are no longer with us. I took over my Dad's briefcase and kept the photo of Mac Gyver in it.
True. But there's nothing like the real thing.
Took Potcheen in for his thyroid check. All is well! Don't have to go back until May. I'm sure Po is happy about that.
You can say that again. I got comments from my driveway until I opened the door to the vet's office. Then nothing. Good thing he doesn't stay mad at me for long.
So true. I'm so glad that my Potcheen doesn't hold a grudge.
yes i want see ur project
That sounds interesting.
The Easter Rebellion. Though I am not a producer.
Rachael I co-wrote the script with the Irish director Alan Walsh. I'm hoping that since the Rebellion's centennial is only a couple of years away (2016) and that it about a woman involved in the Rebellion that we can find a producer.
Best with it!
Thanks Rachael. Fingers crossed!
