It is with great sadness that i share the news that my dear, DEAR, friend, Nick Pelino, Jr. has passed away yesterday. Some 34 years ago, this man was the first Director to take a chance on the fat, black kid--- with the full SPLIT--- and could sing a bit! I performed under his direction in perhaps a half a dozen shows in my early stage career. We ALWAYS had a mastery of the balance between the times when he was my Director, and when he was my dear, loving, supportive, generous friend. And the times I was FORTUNATE ENOUGH, to have been granted the sublime pleasure of directing him. RIP, "BOSS". Mutual Friends: Please connect with me on FB ( https://www.facebook.com/marcinho.savant ) to facilitate my sharing of the arrangements, which have been finalised by his life-long friend, Rev.John Graf. There will be a memorial on the 24th, with a musical tribute to him in the process of being organised as I type, for the theatre community sometime this spring.

Hi Marcinho, I can feel your sadness for the loss of your friend. I always think that if you emulate such a person as your friend, then you never really lose them, you share them with whoever you emulate with. My prayers are with you. Tom
THANK you, kind, Mr. Rooney!
