I'm ok with getting together with people in the rest of south east michigan too.

I'm in Detroit and would love to be part of this.

Let's set a specific date in September. I would think that a Friday evening or Saturday afternoon would be best. Perhaps the 12th or 13th?

Any suggestions on a location?

If possible, I'd like to attend. Day and time is important, however, due to commitments I must keep. Please let me know what the options are. I really want to be a part of this if at all possible. Thank you, Clifford, for trying to get this going.

Would love to meet up with everyone. The 12th works for me. Booked for the 13th though.

Since I have only input for one specific date I say we set it up for the 12th. After talking with friends of mine I will pick Antonio's Cucina Italiana in Canton, Michigan as our meeting location. I figure it is a little closer to those of you in the Detroit area than driving all the way to Ann Arbor. So here are the official meeting details September 12, 4pm-7pm Antonio's Cucina Italiana 2220 N Canton Center Rd Canton, MI 48187

Canton is a good location for me I will try to make it up, although maybe on the later end of the timeframe.

I'll see about taking the 12th off to make the meet up.

I am interested! How about Jolly Pumpkin brewery? Great craft beer right downtown ;) Another god dt option is Isolita. Tappas style dining, high quality, very interesting cocktails and some very nice rooms downstairs.

I'm going to try to make it, but it might not be possible. I have a commitment early that afternoon and I don't know how long I'll be tied up. I'd love to meet all of you in person. As far as attire it is informal, but remember you are trying to make a good first impression with people.

Unfortunately I will be late or not showing I apologize if I don't show vehicle problems occurred

I don't know how it is done as I have not set up a meet up but typically the organizer sets up and invite and people will accept the invite. It makes it cleaner. Then the organizer is the only one who gets the rsvps but on the page others can see who is going . Have fun tonight

Clifford, first I want to say thank you for putting this together. Networking is so essential for this business. I do need to point out that in my email I received two different dates: Friday 9/12 and Sat 9/13. We'll just go forward from here of course. Hope it went well. When will the next one be?

When I get back to Michigan I am going to set something up to make our networking easier to manage. Michelle I am not sure if you were talking to Me or Clifford. I want to know what other people are working on. I am just now producing my first film. I would be happy to read what you have or at least discuss it with you.
