Kathryn Zizek Kathryn, this is a haunting and emotionally rich premise with a strong psychological hook. The idea of a past deal resurfacing at such a vulnerable moment motherhood creates immediate tension and depth.
The shapeshifting entity adds a compelling layer of paranoia and suspense, especially if its deception blurs the line between reality and perception. There’s great potential here to explore guilt, consequence, and identity in a very intimate yet terrifying way.
It sounds like a story that can balance psychological horror with emotional stakes, which is always powerful. Really intriguing concept with strong festival appeal.
