Hey Gerber, a few days ago we implemented a new privacy setting to give you the option of accepting private messages only from users within your network. Today, I discovered a bug with the way this option is set for new users. I just wanted to let you know that the bug is now fixed, so all members are now able to receive private messages from any other member (the default setting). If you'd like to receive private messages only from users within your network, you can change this setting here. Also, you can access your privacy settings at any time from the drop-down menu that appears when you hover over your profile photo in the upper right-hand corner of the page.

2011 was a rollercoaster ride for me and I'm ready to hop on an even bigger rollercoaster in 2012. Wishing all of you an exceptional 2012.

I see productions that need tens of thousands of dollars and then I look at my project- which needs $750 to get through post and wonder what I'm missing. How do I get the project in front of people? I have such faith in the film and everyone who worked on it, but as things creep to the end I know this is all on me. Am I actually a bad director? I'm certainly not very skilled at marketing. Have I let this team of very talented people who all put such hard work into the project down? Here we are, right at the end, so close to the payoff for such dedication and a labor of love... And I'm terrified that it will all just stop. I need help. I need advice. I'm not a publicist, I'm a director and a writer. Promotion is like a foreign creature to me. I'm $500 away from completing Resistance, no one is hiring and I'm now living off of Christmas money to pay my bills. What do I do?
