About Barry
Master's degree in screenwriting. TV-phile. Writer of dramedies, dark comedies, and WWII scripts centered in arenas that have had very few movies made about them or aspects of the war that have not been covered thus far. Many of my scripts have strong female protagonists or diverse protagonists.
Coming back to LA in September/October for 6 months minimum, but hoping to make it my home. Now teaching in Istanbul.
Unique traits: Warped humor. Well-traveled. Polyglot. I have a deep understanding of the Turkish/Muslim psyche after spending 24 years in Istanbul.
