I have been a writer and actor in the Twin Cities in Minnesota for over twenty years. I left "normal' employment in 2012 to pursue my own writing future whatever it may be. Two books, The List of Things Bought and Somewhere Down the River, are published in the last two years. TLTB is a true biography of a Chinese woman, and SDR is a personal memoir. I am devoting most of this year to my next novel and next year will bring two more new stories. My most successful play, "starke.florida" debuted in Minneapolis in 1996 and was staged at the Garrick Theater in Manchester, UK in 2007. I have many stage plays, storytelling performances, and standup experience locally. One of my goals this year is to find a literary agent. It is proving difficult but patience is key I believe.
